If Tori Amos was upbeat and happy....
...she would be Regina Spektor. I really like her new album, especially the song 'Fidelity'. Very catchy song that just keeps playing in my head.Check out a few of her songs here on her myspace page. I also think Better is a great track. I think I just like quirky indie singer-songwriters more and more.
In other music related news, during Saint Patrick's week this year, I am going to see the Dropkick Murphys on March 13 and then The Pogues on March 16. Well anyway give Regina Spektor a listen.

I keep hearing about Regina Spektor but I think I may have only heard one of her songs...I'll need to check out more of her music.
To answer your question, I saw Downtown Harvest at The General Lafayette Inn. Have you ever been there?
Also, I think your He Said/She Said idea is a good one!
